Senior Members Club

Our Senior members club night operates on Monday evenings from 7-10pm. We currently have around 40 members at the club meaning we are near maximum capacity. This means we are only looking to take new members to the club who are of a strong badminton standard. It is a requirement for all members of the club to play in league matches representing the club throughout the badminton season.

We allow guests to our club night provided they book a guest place up to a week in advance. Please see our guest policy below. We look forward to welcoming you at our club sessions soon. Please contact us using the details on the 'Contact Us' page to book your guest place now.

All our members play in local league matches representing the club in the Chelmsford & District league as well as the Essex County league. We play in mens, ladies and mixed doubles and currently have a total of 9 teams with a 1st teams in the top divisions. Our match nights are Tuesday evenings.

Players which may not be quite strong enough for our club nights are more than welcome to attend our social nights instead. Please see the 'Social Pay2Play Session' page for more information.

Guest Policy

Guests are welcome to club night on a Monday provided they book a place with a member of the committee up to 1 week in advance. The fee for guests is £10 cash on the night and the session runs 7-10pm. We only allow a maximum of 5 guests per session, this is done first come first served. Players are able to attend club nights as a guest a maximum of 3 times in any 6 month period. After which the committee will collectively decide whether the club is in a position to offer membership to the player, or invite them to the social club as an alternative. As we are currently at full capacity for members the committee will only look to accept new members who are of a strong playing standard. In the instance that a player is offered membership by the committee but does not wish to join, the committee has the right to allow the player to attend as a guest on an ad-hoc basis.
